Senior Savings Going On Now

by BFAH Staff on 01/19/12

Senior exam and senior blood work panels are being offered at a package rate for a limited time! Animals start to hit middle age around seven years of age.  Large breed dogs (over 80 pounds) hit middle age sooner at age five or six.  Once an animal hits middle age it is important to bring them in for an exam every six months instead of yearly.  While this may seem frequent you need to take into account that animals age 6 to 10 times faster than humans.  This means that a doctors appointment every six months for your pet is equivalent to you visiting the doctor every three to four years. Contact us for more information.

Education
Check out our new educational page filled with advice from our veterinarians. Our doctors have spent some time putting together words of wisdom to share with you. There are "how to" instructions for properly cleaning ears, grooming, and trimming nails. Have you ever wondered how many calories you give your dog in each treat? We have some data to show you how many. You could also download and print a blank pet sitter instructions form so you don't forget to tell the sitter anything important.
