Dr. Nick Gatto
Dr. Gatto completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He has spent his entire career in private practice begining with a mix of large and small animal medicine in Morris, MN. He has been the owner of Best Friends Animal Hospital since 1994. He lives with 2 goldfish (Captain Simeon, Spud), 2 dogs (Sakima, Muldoon) and a bird (Smokey).
Dr. Genya Metzen
Please help us welcome Dr. Metzen to our staff! She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and obtained her DVM degree in 2002 from the University of Minnesota with a passion for dermatology. She specializes in Bulldogs and Shih Tzus. She enjoys riding her horse Whiskey and gardening in her flower and vegetable gardens. She currently owns two dogs (Joe Mauer, Rosie) and one horse (Whiskey).
Claudia, Certified Veterinary Technician
She graduated from Argosy University in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys gardening and hanging out with her cats. This is her cat Charles Milhouse Wrigley. She currently owns 7 cats (Little One, Baby Kitty, Boo Boo, Baby Girl, Charlie Milhouse Wrigley, Lee lee, Chevy)
Susie, Certified Veterinary Technician
She graduated from Globe University in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys going out with friends and spending time with family. This is her dachshund Penny. She owns three very naughty dachshunds (Reese, Penny a.k.a. Corndog, Peanut a.k.a. Burnt Wiener) who were all rescues.
Amanda, Veterinary Assistant, Client Care Coordinator
She completed her Bachelor Degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. She is currently going to school at Argosy for Veterinary Technology while applying to vet school. This is her tortoise Achilles and cat Mia. She owns two cats (Rocky, Mia) and a African spur-thighed tortoise (Achilles).
Fay, Certified Veterinary Technician
She started at Bell Rea Institute in Colorado for Veterinary Technology and finished the program back in Minnesota at Argosy University. She enjoys talking to friends and family. This is her cat Tigger. She owns three cats (Tigger, Andy, Scooter).
Eric, Veterinary Assistant, Office Manager
He currently is pursuing an education in Marine Biology. He enjoys going to music festivals and spending time with friends. This is his dog Muldoon. He lives with 2 dogs (Sakima, Muldoon) and a bird (Smokey).
Sue, Practice Manager
She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems. This is her dog Sakima. She enjoys the outdoors and doing dog parks with her dogs. She currently lives with two dogs (Sakima, Muldoon) and a bird (Smokey).
Patricia, Certified Veterinary Technician
She graduated from Argosy University in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. These are her dogs. She owns a Lab (Raya) and a Doberman mix (Blake).
